Welcome and Thank you for your interest in coordinating a bowling/ fundraising team to participate in Achieve-A-Bowl! this event benefits Junior Achievement of Rhode Island STUDENT PROGRAMs. Please read this page fully before registering.

Achieve-A-Bowl is about having fun with your friends, family, co-workers, or student group and raising money to bring Junior Achievement into more Rhode Island classrooms!

Over 600 bowlers from organizations throughout Rhode Island participate each year in our Annual Achieve-A-Bowl! This event is so large, it is now available for teams to participate on one of seven different times and five dates. It is the oldest and largest community event supporting Junior Achievement of Rhode Island and has raised more than $1.9 million in its 34-year history! We are delighted that you are interested in joining us to help empower the future!

How It Works

Our annual fundraiser begins in January. Typically, teams have an eight to ten week period to recruit their bowlers and raise donations. Then, gather up the team for your pick of times to enjoy our bowling party in celebration of all your efforts! The highest fundraisers earn the biggest prizes which will be delivered to your doorstep approximately four weeks after the event!

A Brief Overview

Coordinators will receive a confirmation of their bowling date and time within two business days of registration.. Please read through the Coordinator Packet and save this Bowler Registration Spreadsheet.

  • Recruit your five-person bowling teams, be sure they are aware this is a fundraiser and send them to the Bowler page of this website. It will give them all the tools needed to reach their networks.

  • There is a $10 registration fee per bowler ($50/team). The fee covers the cost of two hours of bowling, shoe rental, and an official event t-shirt. This is a link on the bowler page to pay online.

  • To participate, bowlers are asked to raise a minimum of $100 in donations ($500/team) but individuals and teams who raise more are eligible for larger prizes!

  • All bowlers who raise the minimum $100 receive a prize!

  • Please note: sponsorship is separate from bowler fundraising efforts.

  • Children under 18 are allowed to bowl with parent/guardian approval. However, this event takes place in a bowling alley and alcohol will be present.

  • Please note that:

    • JA policy prohibits children from fundraising. If a child under 18 bowls on a team of adults, the registration fee is still $10 but the team is still asked to raise $500 as a whole.

    • If you wish to put together a full lane of up to six children, no fundraising is expected from the lane, however, the registration fee is $15 per child bowler to cover costs.
